DNase I (RNase & Protease free) (EC 3.1.21.1) is an enzyme that degrades DNA and plays a crucial role in the breakdown of extracellular DNA. It is vital for limiting inflammatory responses and maintaining homeostasis. Exogenous DNase I has beneficial effects in inflammatory diseases and cancer. It is of molecular biology grade, purified by chromatography to remove RNase and protease contaminants.
