Recombinant fusion protein consisting of two copies of the extracellular part of human high affinity IgE receptor α-chain fused to human serum albumin (HSA) [FcεRIα-HSA-FcεRIα]. The protein is secreted from a recombinant CHO cell line and specifically binds to human immunoglobulin E (IgE) with affinity comparable to the native IgE receptor expressed on mast cells and basophils (KD < 1nM). Among other applications it can be used as functional reagent in allergy research, mast cell / basophil biology and as analytical tool for detection and quantification of biologically active (= receptor binding) IgE in experimental cell supernatants and body fluids.

This product is for research use only. Follow Standard Laboratory Practice when handling this recombinant protein. Store undiluted at 4°C. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thawing. Handle under sterile conditions, the mAb is formulated in sterile buffer solution and does not contain sodium azide as preservative. The product may be shipped on ice pack or dry ice.
